Dr. Vinyl & Associates is proud to announce 35 years of service to the automotive & commercial industry. Dr. Vinyl was founded in 1972 in Kansas City, Missouri by David Isley. He and his wife, Marcia, worked with local restaurants, repairing torn, burnt, chipped and peeling vinyl booths and chairs, but soon discovered there were many similar repairs to be done at car dealerships. The couple did repairs for clients in the Kansas City area until 1981, when they began franchising.
Today, franchisees and associates of The Dr. Vinyl Group (Dr. Vinyl & The Doctors Touch) offers Automotive Paint Repair, Paintless Dent Removal, complete Upholstery Repair and Vinyl Siding Repair in addition to the leather and vinyl repairs introduced 35 years ago. Since 1981, currently, The Dr. Vinyl Group has over 800 technicians in the field in 16 countries.
The Dr. Vinyl Group was delighted to host the annual Nebraska Golf Tournament. The tournament was held on June 9th at the multiple award winning 18 hole Championship Golf Course, The Woodland Hills in Eagle, NE.
Also a warm welcome to new franchise associates Justin Walton & Terry Guess – The Doctors Touch Auto Paint Repair Technicians. Both Justin & Terry joined Curt Pribble-The Doctors Touch of Indianapolis, IN. Terry was a warehouse worker before joining The Dr. Vinyl Group. Justin was in the Pizza delivery business as well as a HVAC technician. Justin’s father, Bobby Walton, is also a Doctors Touch Auto Paint Repair Technician.
Welcome new franchise associate David Riffel– Interior Repair Technician for Rex Morris-Dr. Vinyl of Hoosierland, IN. Prior to joining Dr. Vinyl, David designed custom stereo sub boxes and installed stereos in high end vehicles such as Mercedes, BMW & Lexus. David also owned his own construction company building custom homes and remodeling older houses.
